Betfred murder: Man, 53, dies following fight in Upper Clapton bookies

A murder investigation has been launched after a 53-year-old man died following a fight in an Upper Clapton bookies.

Officers were called to Betfred at 4.30pm yesterday and found the victim unconscious. Medics fought to save his life but he was pronounced dead at the scene a short while later.

His next of kin has been informed and a post-mortem has been scheduled.

The other person involved in the fight left the shop and has not been found.

No arrests have been made.
