Drug user phones police to complain about dealer

In a bizarre phone call, one drug user has turned to Hackney Police to let off steam and report their dealer for overcharging them.

The audacious call was revealed by Sergeant Richard Berns, of Brownswood ward, who let his followers know a caller told police his dealer was ripping him off.

Posting the incident on Twitter, Sgt Berns said: “A caller just rang 999 to report their drug dealer keeps ripping them off and they’re fed up with it!”.

He also confirmed that no arrests had been made following the call.
