Hackney shooting: Police investigating after man in 20s shot by two people on moped in Amhurst Road

A man in his 20s was shot by two people on a moped in Amhurst Road last night.

Police were called to the shooting near the junction with Sigdon Passage at about 9.30pm.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries, though Scotland Yard said they are not believed to be life-threatening.

The area has been taped off while officer investigate. No arrests have been made.
