The victim was punched in the face and suffered serious head injuries when he fell and hit his head on the floor in the vicinity of the Dolphin public house in Mare Street on Sunday May 12 at 5am.

Police in Hackney are appealing for help tracing two men following an assault which has left a man in a critical condition in hospital.

Police have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to regarding the incident.
