A man in his 20s has been stabbed on the Regents Estate in Haggerston.

Police and the air ambulance were called to Pownall Road just after 5.45pm and the victim has been taken to hospital. His condition is not yet known.

A crime scene is in place and no arrests have been made.

One neighbour who saw the injured victim told the Gazette: “He was chased by a few other boys.

“Apparently he was attacked in Haggerston at first then he ran to Broke Walk where he was found. His chest was covered in blood so I’m assuming he’d been stabbed in the chest.
