Investigating officers not had one call to identify man accused of gross act.

POLICE have yet to receive a single call from the public over the identity of the phantom defecator of Hoxton Station.

British Transport Police said they have not received any calls with information into the identity of the man who is alleged to have pulled his trousers and pants down in a lift in Hoxton Station and defecated in the corner.

Twitter has been abuzz with the story and the image of the wanted man, who is the process of pulling his trousers down, but despite this officers have not had any information.

The incident took place on Tuesday, 11 January 2011 around 11.30am when the man and a friend got into the lift and one of them covered the CCTV camera.

After leaving his mark, the man and his friend got on a train and left the station.

PC Roger Andrews, the investigating officer, said: “We are continuing to carry out local enquiries and urge anyone with information to come forward.”
