A man was found unconscious after he was assaulted outside a kebab shop in Shoreditch, and now police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

The victim, who also suffered a deep two-inch cut over his eyebrow, was out with friends when he was assaulted outside the Corner Savoy, in Great Eastern Street, at about 01:10am on Friday, February 24.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his twenties, of large build. He was wearing a blue and brown checked shirt.
