Police want to locate the man on the bike


Officers from Hackney have released images of a cyclist they want to identify after a woman was sexually assaulted as she jogged along the canal.

The attack happened on Wednesday August 19 just after 8pm on the towpath just north of the Princess of Wales Public House, in Lea Bridge Road, Hackney.

The suspect is described as an Asian man, aged about 20-years-old, of chubby build, with short black hair and a clean shaven face.

He was wearing a grey tracksuit and was riding a bicycle.
