A pensioner was found injured after reports of a stabbing in South Hackney yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
A fight broke out in King Edward’s Road near the junction with Fremont Road shortly before 1.30pm.
Paramedics treated a 76-year-old man and took him to an east London hospital with an injured shoulder and small cuts to his hands.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police officers are investigating.
No arrests have been made.
