Police are re-appealing for information on a man in relation to several thefts in Hackney.
They would like to speak to Michael Lawrence, 31, in connection with a spate of thefts in which a man befriended homosexual men to gain access to their homes and steal their property and valuables.
Police are warning the public not to approach Lawrence – who is described as black, 6ft tall and of a muscular build – but to call 999 immediately if they identify him.
Lawrence, who frequently uses aliases, is known to frequent Hackney, Camden, Southwark and Tower Hamlets.
Anyone with any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact Hackney police on 101, quoting reference 4618456/13, or to call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
