Arrest made over broad daylight Hackney Downs stabbing

A man is in a serious condition in hospital after he was stabbed multiple times outside Hackney Downs train station in broad daylight yesterday.
Police were called at just after 3pm on Wednesday October 21 to the scene of the incident in Lower Clapton at the corner of Anton Road and Andre Road.
The victim was taken by London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital in a serious condition.
A man has now been arrested in connection with the investigation.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said his injuries are not life threatening.
