Crook foiled after stolen laptop was found stashed in his trousers
A man has been sentenced to 12 months in jail, after he was found with a stolen laptop stashed down his trousers.
Jamie Walsh, 34, of no fixed abode, was stopped by officers on Monday October 8, as his description matched one circulated of a suspect of a burglary in Ashwin Street, Dalston.
Police found a laptop hidden in his trousers, as well as cash in money bags.
He was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday November 13, after he pleaded guilty to burglary.
