Dalston assault appeal: frail elderly woman sustained fractured cheek and nose bleed
Police in Hackney are appealing for witnesses and information after a frail elderly woman’s cheek was fractured in an assault in Dalston’s Kingsland Shopping Centre.
The 72-year old was shopping in Dalston’s Kingsland Shopping Centre with a friend on Tuesday February 19 just before 6pm.
The suspect came running from Sainsbury West and barged straight into her, knocking her to the floor.
He did not stop and continued to run towards the shopping centre’s exit.
The victim sustained a fracture to her cheek and a bleeding nose.

The suspect is described as a black male, aged 17 to 19 years old, who was wearing a black top, black trousers and white earphones.
