Hackney police are trying to identify the owner of a stolen bike so they can press charges against the thief.
The bike which was recovered by police on November 1 is a green Trek District Single Speed Hybrid, with a carbon chain.
PC Sammy Harrington, from Hoxton Safer Neighbourhoods team, said: “We take bike theft very seriously and we are eager to locate the rightful owner of this bike. “It is not clear where this bike came from but I am hopeful that someone may recognise it.”
