Police have released three photographs taken from a stolen camera in the hopes of identifying the rightful owner.

The Canon digital SLR camera was recovered by police in Hackney on August 16, and Det Con Gemma Wade hopes the photographer will recognise their snapshots.

The first photograph shows a brick bridge over a river, surrounded by greenery. The second picture is of a roundabout and the third shows a living room.

Det Con Wade, of Hackney CID, said: “We are eager to locate the rightful owner of this camera and return their property to them. It is not clear where these photographs were taken but I am hopeful that someone may recognise the area or know the owner of the camera.”

Anyone with information should contact Det Con Wade on 0207 275 3277 quoting reference CR4621219/11.
