Police are appealing for witnesses in connection with an attempted robbery in Costcutters at Seven Sisters.
The suspect entered the supermarket on Tuesday, July 17, at around 5.30pm and forced the shop assistant to handing over money by threatening her with a long knife.
The victim managed to press the alarm bell just before she escaped and the suspect disappeared after a failed attempt to break into the till.
