A 73-year old woman was pulled by her hair to the ground before a robber with waist-length dreadlocks stole her handbag in broad daylight in busy Ridley Road Market.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses following the attack on Friday July 31 at 5pm, which saw the victim receiving treatment for grazing to her knees and swelling to her wrist.
The bag contained the money she had withdrawn from a bank just moments earlier.
The man police want to speak with is black with black waist-length dreadlocks.
