Four men have been summonsed to court to answer assault charges against a Hackney Council enforcement officer.
It comes after an investigation of an altercation in Leaside Road, Clapton, on January 16 this year.
The four men, each charged with common assault, will appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on August 4.
They are: Osher Freidman, 30, of Wargrave Avenue, Tottenham; Mordechai Freidman, 31, of Fairholt Road, Woodberry Down; Benjamin Beigel, 25, of Upper Clapton Road, Clapton; and Yakov Nowogrodski, 25, of Fairholt Road, Woodberry Down.
Cops are continuing to investigate. A spokesperson said: “There were a large number of people present at the incident. If anyone has further information or evidence and have not yet spoken to police, they can contact police in Hackney via 101.”
