Hackney Police release image of serious sexual assault suspect

Police have released imaged of a man with pierced ear and a scarred eyebrow who they want to speak to regarding a serious sexual assault in Hackney.
The victim met the male suspect at a bus stop in Holloway Road, Islington, in the evening on Tuesday September 4 2012.
He threatened her and took her in a taxi to his home where the offence allegedly took place.
The victim managed to escape and alerted police and officers from the Sapphire sexual assault unit launched an investigation.
The suspect is described as a black man, aged around 35 years old, approximately 5’ 8” tall, of large build, with a pierced left ear and small scar on his right eyebrow.
