A detective based in Stoke Newington has been convicted of harassing a woman earlier this year.
Det con James Petevinou, 48, was found guilty of one count of harassment and acquitted of another following a hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ court yesterday.
Petevinou was arrested in February and subsequently charged.
The officer remains suspended from duty.
He will be sentenced on November 20 .
