A 51-year-old man was arrested this morning in Hackney on warrant for extradition to Turkey, where he is suspected of being a member of a terrorist group.
Alaettin Kalender will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ court this afternoon.
The Met’s extradition team arrested him at a property in Hackney.
