A man stabbed in Finsbury Park was being driven to Homerton Hospital last night when he collapsed in the car and the emergency services were called.

The victim, aged in his 30s, was knifed in Stroud Green Road according to Scotland Yard.

He was driven three miles away to Upper Clapton Road when paramedics and police were called just after 6.30pm.

The man was taken to an east London hospital where he is now in a stable and non life-threatening condition.

Officers from Haringey are investigating and there have been no arrests.
