A second victim of the horrific acid attack in a London Fields nightclub has been left blind in one eye, police say.

Twenty people were injured when the noxious substance was thrown at Mangle E8 in the early hours of Monday.

And now Scotland Yard has confirmed one of the two men believed to have been the target of the attack has lost sight in one eye.

The 24-year-old had been receiving treatment in a specialist burns unit along with another man, 29. Both have now been discharged.

Yesterday it was revealed a 22-year-old woman had been left blind in her left eye.

Detectives are still hunting for Towie celeb Arthur Collins over the attack, but have arrested two of the three men wanted in connection with it.

Aged 21 and 24, they are being held after police arrested him on suspicion of GBH today in north London.

Det Insp Lee McCullough from Hackney CID said: “This investigation continues to move at great pace and the net is closing in on those we believe to be responsible.

“My team continue to act on a number of leads to bring in those wanted for questioning in relation to this awful incident.

“I am continuing to appeal to Arthur Collins and another man who was seen with him to hand themselves in so that we can talk to them about the incident in the nightclub. I would also urge anyone who knows of his whereabouts to contact police.

“Equally, anyone found harbouring those wanted for questioning by police can expect a knock at the door and could well find themselves under arrest.”

Officers have raided three addresses in Hertfordshire this week and other warrants have been executed in Milton Keynes.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested at one of the addresses yesterday on suspicion of firearms offences. She was taken to a north London police station and has since been bailed.

Anyone who sees Collins, of Hertfordshire, should stay away and call 999 immediately, police say.

Another man is also wanted for questioning. CCTV images showing him are being reviewed by investigators.

Police are also investigating the venue’s security measures and victims have questioned how the substance got inside.
