Seven charged after Lower Clapton arrests

Seven people have been charged for drug offences after being arrested in Lower Clapton.

Kieron Brown, 19 of Mabley Street, Homerton, Steven Anderson, 26 of Dalston Lane, Ope Olawaiye, 27 of Canterbury Terrace, Kilburn, and Korey Lawrence-Marcel, 18 of Powerscroft Road Lower Clapton were charged on Thursday January 24 with conspiracy to supply class B drugs and with an offence under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Three male youths aged 16, 16 and 15 were also charged with the same crimes.

Mr Lawrence-Marcel was charged with breaching an ASBO and possession of class B drugs.

The teenagers were remanded on bail and the others appeared in custody at Thames Magistrates’ Court today on Thursday January 24 and all but the 16 and 15 year old were remanded in custody to attend Snaresbrook Crown Court on April 2. The teenagers were remanded on bail.
