A seventh man has been charged with the murder of 17-year-old Marcel Addai in Hoxton.

The teenager was said to be chased through the St John’s Estate in Pitfield Street, Hoxton, before a gang stabbed him 15 times in the chest and back during the attack on Friday, September 4, piercing his heart and lungs.

David Oladimeji, 21 of Axon Place, Ilford, appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on Monday September 21 and was due to appear at the Old Bailey as the Gazette went to press yesterday.

Rickell Rogers, 21, and Sheku Jallow, 22, both of no fixed address appeared in custody at Hendon Magistrates’ Court last Thursday and were remanded in custody before appearing at the Old Bailey on Monday, where they were also remanded.

Four men – Sodiq Adebayo, 22, of De Vere Gardens, Ilford, Akeem Gbadamosi, 21, of Detmold Road, Clapton, Eugene Ocran, 19, of Fermain Court West, De Beauvoir Road, Haggerston, and Momar Faye, 18, of no fixed address, have already appeared in the Old Bailey dock last week accused of murder. The six men are due to reappear on November 30.
