Shepperton Road stabbing: Rosemary Gardens park taped off on ‘hottest day’ after Hoxton attack leaves man, 24, in hospital

A 24-year old man is recovering in hospital after being stabbed in Hoxton yesterday afternoon.
Shepperton Road and Rosemary Gardens park were taped off by police following the incident, which took place just after 4pm.
The man was taken to a central London hospital where he remains in a stable condition according to Scotland Yard.
The incident happened one hour after a woman aged 41 was stabbed in a lift in a block of flats just 500m away.
Police were called just before 3pm to Wimbourne Street where the woman was found suffering from stab wounds to her chest and abdomen.

She is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
