Two men sitting in their car attacked in Dalston

Two men are in hospital after four men are believed to have attacked them as they sat in their car in London Fields last night.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information following the assault at around 9pm in Shrubland Road.
A 26-year-old man and a 28-year-old man sustained injuries during the attack and made their way to hospital where they remain in a stable condition.
A police spokesman said: “At this early stage in the investigation it is believed that the victims were approached and attacked by up to four men as they sat in their vehicle in Shrubland Road.
“Detectives retain an open mind with regards to the motive for the attack.”

No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
