Violent Shoreditch World Cup assault sees man’s jaw broken

CCTV images have been released of two men police men want to speak to, after a man’s jaw was broken on a night out with his wife.

The alleged violent assault happened on Saturday June 14 in Great Eastern Street, Shoreditch, straight after the first England World Cup match against Italy, which England lost 1-2.

Police believe the two men had been drinking in the Hoxton Seven bar before the offence took place, and were seen smoking outside.

They were last seen running towards Old Street.
