An alarming array of weapons was seized by police last night, after they broke up a mass street brawl involving up to 30 youths.
Panic-stricken witnesses called 999 after seeing the confrontation in Wick Road, Homerton at around 11pm.
The thugs fled when police arrived - but a search of the area uncovered seven discarded weapons – including two large kitchen knives, two machete-style serrated knives with sheaths and a huge blade covered in a skull pattern.
A spokesman said: “Several proactive stops were carried out resulting in one male being arrested for possession of a knife.”
No one was reported injured in the fight.
