Police are appealing for witnesses following allegations of a sexual attack in Shoreditch Park on Sunday.
Two women entered the park from Pitfield Street near the Britannia Leisure Centre, between 1.50am and 2.20am.
They were approached by two men who asked for directions to an off licence before sexually assaulting them.
Police are keen to speak to a couple who walked passed at the time of the attack. One of the witnesses is described as a white woman with blonde hair.
Both suspects are described as possibly Mediterranean in appearance, and are aged around 22 years old.
The first suspect has a heavy build with short dark hair and was wearing light coloured jeans and white trainers.
The second suspect has a slim build with black spiky straight hair, and was wearing dark coloured jeans, and a dark jacket with white pictures on.
Officers from the Sapphire Unit - which is dedicated to sexual assault victims - are investigating.
Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Richard Rowlerson on 0207 275 3491 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
