A woman has appeared in court accused of repeatedly stabbing a man in his 40s in the upper body and face in Homerton in the early hours of Thursday (November 10).

Emergency services found the victim collapsed at the junction of Kenton Road and Valentine Road shortly after 4.45am and took him to hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

Caroline Humphreys, 48, of Vanner Point, South Hackney, appeared at Thames Magistrates Court on Friday (Nov 11) charged with grievous bodily harm with intent to wound. She was remanded in custody to attend Snaresbrook Crown Court on February 2 2012.
