A VICIOUS thug who punched a woman in the face and stole her purse at a cash point is wanted by police chiefs.
Officers from Hackney’s robbery squad have released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the attack which happened at an ATM in Mare Street, Hackney Central, at around 5.50pm on Friday September 10.
The victim had just put money in her purse when the suspect made a grab for it and punched her in the face.
The suspect, who ran off into Paragon Road, is described as a white man, 20-years-old, of pale complexion with short black hair, wearing a black jacket and dark navy trousers.
