Dalston shop shutter reportedly injures two people

Two people were hurt when a shop shutter fell on them, according to reports.
Police, ambulance and fire crews were all called to the incident, which happened at Barclays 4 Bikes just after 11am today (Thursday).
Traffic and buses were diverted while the emergency services worked at the scene in Kingsland Road, Dalston.
A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called just after 11.05am to reports that a shop shutter had fallen on two people.
“We sent two ambulance crews to the scene.

“Our staff treated two patients, a 38-year-old woman who was taken on blue lights to Homerton Hospital with leg injuries, and a 56-year-old man, who was put on a spinal board at the scene and also taken to Homerton Hospital on blue lights.”
