Former Home Secretary David Blunkett is one of several high profile speakers giving weekly lectures during Lent at St Joseph’s Hospice.
The Lentern Lectures at the hospice in Mare Street have become an institution, and other speakers - who will all tackle the subject of ‘service to the poor today’ - include Baroness Julia Neuberger, the Crossbench peer, and the former Bishop of Stepney, Rt Rev Stephen Oliver.
The lectures will be held at St Joseph’s at 1.30pm every Thursday until March 21.
