The author of a book about growing and cooking your own veg, will talk to keen De Beauvoir gardeners on Tuesday (March 1).
Paolo Arrigo, owner of independent seed company, Seeds of Italy, will talk to the De Beauvoir Gardeners group about what to grow where and when.
Paolo believes you can sow and harvest food crops in every month of the year, except December, and will talk abut the Italian philosophy of ‘Seed to Plate’ - the name of his book - which means sourcing locally, and eating what is in season.
The De Beauvoir Gardeners meet on the first Tuesday of the month in St. Peter’s Church crypt in De Beauvoir Road.
The first meeting costs 2 for non-members, for more information see www.debeauvoirgardeners.org.uk
