Women who want to find out more about the dazzling costumes on stage and screen are invited to go behind the scenes this Monday to discover how stunning West End Costumes are produced from scratch.
Established theatrical costumier and secretary of the Stoke Newington Women’s Institute Claire-Louise Hardie will take the group’s members on the journey of a costume from initial idea to finished garment.
Ms Hardie’s CV includes a tour of Japan with the Royal Shakespeare Company to working on ITV’s Midsomer Murders crime series.
Attendees to the talk at the Prince Pub in Kynaston Road, Stoke Newington, at 8pm will have a chance to practise by creating a character board for an actor and breaking down a section of script.
