A one-day conference aimed at inspiring young entrepreneurs will feature talks by Downton Abbey actress Sarah Gordy and Marcus Davey, chief executive of music venue Camden Roundhouse.
The event is being hosted by not-for-profit organisation Tedx Youth@Hackney which promotes “ideas worth spreading”, will also feature actress Bonnie Greer and activist Chiara Paliera.
The event is being held to empower and inspire youth through by promoting entrepreneurship and youth activism. Leading figures such as technology tycoon Bill Gates have previously spoken and been recorded for the online forum pioneered in California 25 years ago.
The conference is being held at 11am tomorrow (November 17) at Shoreditch Town Hall, 380 Old Street. Tickets cost �15. For more information, visit www.tedxyouthhackney.co.uk.
