Hackney’s education business partnership organised visits from firemen and the police

Tots at a Homerton nursery got to investigate a fire engine during a week learning about the world of work – until it rushed away, sirens blaring after an emergency call came through.

The youngsters from Wentworth Nursery in Cassland Road were also visited by police community support officers during Work Week which focused on “jobs on the move.”

The initiative, which also takes place in primary schools across the borough, is organised by Hackney’s education business partnership Inspire!
