A school specialising in technology subjects will be holding a taster day this month for future GCSE and A-Level pupils.

Hackney University Technical College in Falkirk Street, Hoxton will be holding the open day on January 18 between 10am and 1pm.

The day is targeted at students in both Year 9 and Year 11 who are considering their GCSE and A-level options.

Students at the college can study one of two specialisms - health or digital technologies - alongside general GCSE or A level subjects.

Students and parents can look around the school, talk to students, teachers and digital and health specialists and try out some hands-on activities.
