Car’s occupants flee the scene
A 26-year-old pedestrian was still in a critical condition today (Monday) following a horrific collision with a car in Kingsland Road, Hoxton, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Two male occupants of the blue Ford Fiesta abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot following the accident near the junction with Orsman Road and the A10 at 1.56 am.
The pedestrian suffered serious head and chest injries and was rushed to the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel.
Police arrested a man at an address later the same dayfor alleged involvement in a serious personal injury road accident and leaving the scene of a serious road accident.
