Northwold Primary School students have been exploring the world of finance through devised theatre.
Professionals from creative arts charity Create have been working with Year 4 kids at the school this month to produce a play that will be performed tomorrow (Fri).
The project, which started with students visiting the Bank of England Museum in December, aims to improve financial awareness among young people by offering them a creative way of understanding money.
Create’s chief exec Nicky Goulder said: “The programme has been designed to strip finance of its often inaccessible jargon to more simplistic, digestible terms for young people.
“In doing so, through fun and interactive drama sessions, Northwold Primary School’s students can become well-equipped for the future while building their creative, interpersonal and communication skills.”
