A new Guinness World Record has been set for the most people on trampolines in one location – in Haggerston Park.
Led by four-time Olympic medallist Rebecca Adlington, 343 people became record breakers for bouncing non-stop for five minutes on individual trampolines on Friday.
Hosted by Innovo – a “restoration system” that uses therapy to strengthen pelvic muscles and claims to help women overcome bladder weakness – the record was set during Women’s Sport Week to encourage women to get moving.
“I am so passionate about helping and encouraging women to get moving and enjoy themselves by being as active as possible,” Rebecca said. “As a mum, I know all about the strain pregnancy and labour can put on your pelvic floor muscles and the importance of maintaining or restoring these muscles to support your core strength fully, in order to keep active.”
