Hackney nursery youngsters aged between three and four sang and performed the Christmas Nativity story to a packed house of delighted parents and grandparents last Thursday.

The 29 children from Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic primary school in Buckingham road, De Beauvoir

Head of early years Lucille Scales said it was a lovely traditional way to celebrate the arrival of Christmas time.

“Well done to all the children, they were all stars on the day,” she said.
