A Stoke Newington school released dozens of balloons to celebrate an improved Ofsted report last Friday.
St Matthias Church of England Primary School in Wordsworth Road, Stoke Newington, celebrated receiving a “good” rating in all areas of the report, following an inspection in September. They received a satisfactory rating in their last Ofsted inspection of September 2011.
Headteacher Orlene Badu said: “The whole school community is immensely proud of our recent Ofsted report, which identified that teaching and progress is good across the school at all the levels.
“With the improved behaviour and determination to work hard, the school has a ‘harmonious’ atmosphere.”
