Budding young musicians from Stoke Newington wowed the audience at a concert last Tuesday, playing classics from Vivaldi, Tchaikowsky and Bach.
Around 50 children took part in the violin concert at Sir Thomas Abney School in Fairholt Road, with guest players travelling in from Baden Powell School in Ferron Road, Lower Clapton and the award-winning Frith Manor String Orchestra in Tottenham.
Solo performances came from Sam Scheer, Ahmed Merchant, and harpist Leah Kozokaro.
