Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Harry Winks and Kieran Trippier all featured for the Three Lions in their 3-2 victory away to Spain
Harry Kane produced a captain’s performance to inspire England to a first victory away to Spain since 1987 last night.
The Three Lions were scintillating in the first half in Seville and came in 3-0 ahead at the break and although the hosts fought back after the restart, Gareth Southgate’s side triumphed by a single strike in a five-goal thriller.
It was a superb result for England in the UEFA Nations League Group A4 and Spurs had four players involved.
Kane led the line and was joined in the team by Tottenham Hotspur midfielders Eric Dier and Harry Winks, while Kieran Trippier lined up at right-back.

Dier didn’t need long to make his mark with a crunching tackle on Sergio Ramos in the opening exchanges which earned him a harsh yellow.
And then England’s counter-attacking play came to the fore with Kane central to the opener as Jordan Pickford picked him out with an inch perfect pass.

The Tottenham forward turned well before freeing Marcus Rashford on the left and he found Brent-born Raheem Sterling, who showed nerves of steel to take a touch and curl into the top corner after 16 minutes.
It was the perfect start for Southgate’s young side and things got even better close to the half an hour mark.
Kane did magnificently to hold up Pickford’s long punt downfield and he turned away from Ramos and played through Rashford, who fired into the bottom corner.
England were in dream land nine minutes later as Ross Barkley chipped over the top for Kane’s run and he cut back for Sterling to tap home and complete his brace.
At half time, the Three Lions were 3-0 up and on course to hand Spain a first defeat on home soil since 2003.
Predictably Luis Enrique’s team fought back with Paco Alcacer heading in at the near post in the 58th minute.
England had to withstand a decent amount of pressure at this point, but rode the storm and even though Ramos grabbed Spain’s second in the seventh minute of stoppage time, it was a mere consolation on a memorable night for the Three Lions.
Kane and Dier both completed the full 90 minutes while Trippier got through 85 and Winks, on only his second start for his country, was replaced in the first minute of time added on.
The foursome will now return to Hotspur Way to prepare for this weekend’s clash in the Premier League away to local rivals West Ham United.
