A Stoke Newington art gallery is inviting artists to submit works for a winter competition.
Following the success of a similar competition this summer, art gallery Basket House Village Universe (BHVU) has decided to stage BHVU Winter Open.
The gallery in Leswin Place will accept any submission that can hang on a wall - from painting, printing, photography and drawing, to mixed media.
Artists can enter up to five works each at a cost of 5 a work and the deadline is Saturday October 23.
BHVU Winter Open will then show from November 27 to December 19 and the exhibition will be juried and curated by a panel of artists from the gallery.
The exhibition will run alongside a Christmas art market with stallholders selling hand-made gifts.
