“Creating something from nothing” was the theme at the Arcola Theatre Family Sunday, where families were challenged to make moving puppets from recycled newspaper and construct hydrogen-powered Lego cars.

The event at the theatre in Ashwin Street for Year 6 pupils was organised by Inspire!’s Families First and Inspired Transitions programmes and designed to build children’s confidence by facing something new ahead of their move up to secondary school.
