A dog walks in to a pub and asks for a pint. The barman demands: “Is this some kind of joke?” Not if that dog is walking in to The Brownswood pub in Finsbury Park.
For it has started selling dog beer – in pork and chicken flavours – imported from Belgium.
Mike Stiaka, assistant general manager, said: “We pride ourselves on being a dog friendly pub. So when a regulars brought it in to show us, the dog liberation began.”
Rest assured, the beer is zero per cent alcoholic, so dogs shouldn’t feel too “ruff” the morning after.
