A five-year-old boy was hospitalised after the car he was travelling in collided with a speed camera and overturned.

The accident happened at around 12.30am on Sunday morning outside the John Scott Health Centre in Green Lanes, Finsbury Park.

A spokeswoman for the London Ambulance Service, which was called out to the scene, said: “Our staff treated two patients. One was a boy reported to be five-years-old. He was taken as a priority to the Royal London Hospital. There were no obvious injuries. The female patient was checked over at the scene and went to hospital in the same ambulance as the boy.”
